Xinjiang Energy Regulator Organizes Symposium on Regional Grid Construction Quality Supervision

Recently, at the request of the energy competence of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the Energy Regulatory Office of Xinjiang Region organized a symposium with the Xinjiang Electric Power Construction Engineering Quality Supervision Center Station to further standardize quality supervision and management of grid construction projects in the Corps’ regional grid.

The discussion focused on the current status of quality supervision for regional grid engineering in the Corps, conducting in-depth exchanges on staffing, daily control systems, quality supervision registration and procedure implementation, and team integrity at the Xinjiang Center Station. The symposium comprehensively reviewed prominent issues in quality supervision of grid construction projects in the Corps and coordinated key tasks for the next phase.

At the symposium, Xinjiang Energy Regulatory Office emphasized that power quality supervision work is a critical defense line for ensuring the quality of power engineering construction. The Xinjiang Center Station must raise its political awareness, fulfill its duties responsibly, continuously strengthen the professional capacity building of the quality supervision team, and improve internal management systems. It must strictly regulate quality supervision registration timeframes, standardize quality supervision procedures, and continuously elevate the professionalization and standardization of quality supervision.

The office also required strict alignment with the “Standards for Identifying and Managing Major Hidden Dangers in Power Engineering,” conducting routine inspections for major quality hazards in the power engineering sector, firmly holding the bottom line and red line of engineering quality, and fully ensuring the high-quality advancement of regional grid construction projects in the Corps.
