On October 10, the 13th meeting of the 14th Lanzhou Municipal Party Committee Financial and Economic Commission was held to study and advance the city’s “Six Networks” construction work.

The meeting emphasized actively promoting power grid capacity expansion and quality improvement, building a new power grid that is safe, reliable, green, low-carbon, strong, resilient, intelligent, and flexible.

The meeting also proposed coordinating the planning and construction of computing power networks, building a multi-level computing infrastructure system, and deeply integrating into the national integrated computing power network. Additionally, strengthening financial guarantees, utilizing various fiscal funds and policy financial tools, innovating investment and financing mechanisms, and attracting more private capital to participate in “Six Networks” construction.

The “Six Networks” construction covers water networks, urban underground pipe networks, new power grids, logistics networks, computing power networks, and next-generation communication networks, representing a key measure for Lanzhou to improve its modern infrastructure system and promote high-quality development. Among them, new power grid construction, as an important link in ensuring energy supply and promoting green low-carbon transition, will further improve the reliable bearing capacity and intelligent flexibility level of the distribution network through capacity expansion and quality improvement projects.
